The compute nodes are managed by industry leading hypervisors, The high CPU to RAM ratio of our compute nodes allows our enterprise users to utilize RapidMachine resources for their applications to the fullest.
RapidCompute storage is built on a high availability Storage Area Network (SAN). The SAN comprises of hybrid storage pools i.e. your data is accelerated by enterprise class high speed disks, delivering high performance for I/O intensive operations.
- Performance Enhanced – providing high performance and robust fault tolerance. High data transfer rates are achieved through a combination of striping, high performance caches and other optimizations. This storage option is ideally suited to IO intensive applications such as high frequency and transactional databases.
- Capacity Enhanced – providing high capacity and storage efficiency. Since parity information is distributed across all drives rather than being concentrated on a single disk, it avoids throughput losses. This storage option is ideally suited to applications that require more read performance and are less write intensive such as for data and image archival.
RapidCompute cloud services can be accessed via any Internet service provider, from all around the world. Our network comprises of multi gigabit Internet connectivity and redundant network design.
RapidCompute also offers a highly secure, unique VLAN for every customer, a free load balancer, an integrated remote VPN facility, a free firewall tool and a public IP address for every customer.
RapidCompute cloud customers are protected by enterprise class firewalls providing protection against malicious attacks and unwanted traffic.
